The through-lines of my work are a playful approach to structure and form and a focus on bringing humour to heartrending stories. As a filmmaker living with Crohn’s disease, I am passionate about sharing the experiences of individuals living with invisible disabilities and chronic illnesses.

My feature script, The 300 Year Old Man, is a 2026 Academy Nicholl Fellowship finalist, and a winner of the 2023 Jim Burt Prize from the Writers Guild of Canada for the best unproduced feature-length screenplay. I wrote and directed the award-winning short film The Middle, which is currently streaming on CBC Gem. I have worked in the edit suite for big names like CBC Comedy, Netflix, The History Channel, and BBC Earth. I earned my BFA at the Toronto Metropolitan University’s Image Arts Film program and recently completed my MFA in Scriptwriting and Story Design at TMU.

When I’m not making movies, I’m experimenting with a new gluten-free recipe, perfecting my curling game, or charting my next camping trip.
